The Naughty Monkey
The monkeys are by nature very naughty. They like jumping here and there and making mischief. Like this a monkey who was all alone, got bored after having jumped here and there good for nothing. He needed someone to play with. Suddenly he saw a squirrel nearby. The monkey jumped and went near the squirrel and asked her straight away, “Dear sister squirrel! Will you play with me?” The squirrel refused saying, “No, no I am too busy. It is about to rain. I have yet to collect nuts for me.” The monkey was disappointed.
At a distance away, he saw a bear. The monkey jumped and went to the bear and said, “Bear uncle, please play with me.” The bear also refused, “Sorry, my nephew, it is about to rain and I have yet to collect a lot of honey. I have no time to play.” The monkey was disappointed again.
He saw an army of ants under the tree. He carefully looked at them. They all were busy carrying food into the hole underground. He could have no company to play with. He jumped here and there and did some mischiefs
After a few days the rains started. The ants entered there hole and started eating the ration, they had colleted earlier. The squirrel entered into her hole in the tree and was enjoying the nuts etc. The bear also was comfortably sitting in his cave and enjoying the honey, he had collected. But the poor monkey got drenched in the rain and was shivering with cold. He had neither made a house for himself nor made any arrangement for food for the rainy days. He was just roaming, and loitering here and there aimlessly. He was hungry and drenched. But had no shelter or food to eat.
In fact, it is always wise to make arrangements for the rainy days well in advance and well in time.
