A man came to a saint and complained, ‘Master! The people are very dishonest.’ The saint consented and said, Yes, .you are right. After some time another man came and after some formal talks he said, ‘Master, I feel honesty still exists in some people.’ The Master again consented and said, ‘Yes, you are right.’ After some time another man came and after formal talks he said, Master, ‘I find that people are honest everywhere. They are all God fearing.’ The Master again replied, yes, you are right.’ After these three persons had gone, one disciple who heard the conservation every time questioned the saint, ‘Master, you agreed with all the three person’s contrary statements. How is it possible that what all the three persons said is right?

The saint replied, ‘My son, each person is wearing a different lens and they see the world according to the lens they are wearing. The first man was totally a wordly person. The second had some fear of God and the third one was full fully devoted to God. People form opinions about others on the basis of their own actions.
