Sin no more

Once when lord Christ was going somewhere, on the way he saw that some people were beating a woman. When enquired , he was told that this woman is of a loose character and she has committed adultery. All were beating her because of her sin. Christ said, if she has committed sin then she must be punished in the proper way of the land. All agreed with him. Those days such criminals used to be punished by burying half of their body in the ground and the mob used to hit them with stones till the criminal was killed. People did the same with that lady. They buried her half body in the ground and then all circled around her with stones in hand.

At that time Lord Christ told them that the first stone should be thrown only by the one who had never committed any sin. Hearing this, they all were in deep thought. They knew that at one time or another they too had committed some sin. The result was that one by one they gradually slipped away. In the end only the Lord Christ and the lady were left there. Lord Christ pulled her out from the earth. The lady fell on His feet and asked for forgiveness. Lord Christ graciously said, All right go, and sin no more.

Saints are the oceans of love and pity and they have full faith in the Lord.
