You cannot escape criticism

Whether you do good or bad, people will criticize you. It is there tendency. They are helpless and so you can never escape criticism. To justify this statement, our elders often tell the tale of a father, son and their pony.

One day both the father and the son were riding their pony. People saw them. Someone remarked: How merciless they are ! They both have laden their heavy load on the poor pony. They heard the comments. The son got and preferred to walk along. They had gone just a few yards when someone else remarked: How odd it looks that the man is comfortably riding the pony and the poor son is walking along. The father heard the comments and so to please the people, he got down and asked his son to ride the pony. The son obeyed. But they had just gone a few yards when someone else remarked: How disrespectful the child is! He is comfortably riding the pony and the old man is walking along. They heard the comments and finally both of them preferred to walk together with the pony. People noticed them and again commented: How foolish they are! They have a pony and yet they are walking. They just could not decide what to do.

The wise man therefore advise us that to live in this world, wear the blinds like the horse and plug your ears against unncessay criticism.
