Young and Old Lizard

Once upon a time young lizard was climbing on a wall with an old lizard. Young lizard said to old lizard “We are too slow and take very long time to climb the wall. I wish I was a deer with beautiful horns who can run very fast.” Old lizard was listening to him and told him that we are extremely small and light in weight which helps us in hiding from our enemies. So, we should be happy with what we are but young lizard was not convinced with his thoughts.

After some days, both of them were together again in search of food. At that very moment they saw group of dogs chasing a beautiful deer who was running very fast. However, after sometime dogs caught deer and killed it. Within no time, dogs ate the dead deer. Young lizard seeing this got scared. Old lizard told young lizard that now you must have understood what I was trying to explain the other day. We should always be thankful to god for whatever we are instead of complaining. Young lizard was now able to understand the point.

Moral : We should be happy with whatever god has given us instead of complaining.
