Three Oranges!!!

Once upon a time prince of Brazil went in a forest. He was enjoying the scenery when he saw an old woman trying to carry bundle of woods on her head. Prince offered to help the lady and delivered the bundle at woman’s home. Woman was very happy with his generosity and gave him three oranges as a reward. When prince was about to leave with oranges, woman told her to peel the oranges only near water. Prince was surprised by the words of old woman.

When prince was going back to the palace he felt very thirsty on the way. He could not find any water near by and so he decided to have an orange. As soon as he peeled an orange a beautiful girl appeared in front of him. She asked for water from the prince since there was no water the girl disappeared. After moving a little farther he again felt very thirsty. Since there was no water he decided to peel second orange and again same thing happened with him. After walking a little further he reached a lake. He was very happy to see the lake and had water. Then he thought that he will have third orange now as I am near water. When he peeled third orange, the most beautiful girl appeared in front of him and asked for water. He gave her water from the lake. Prince told him that she is very pretty and would she like to be his bride. The girl gladly accepted the proposal. Prince told her to hide in this area and he will bring royal clothes for her from the palace. As soon as the prince went to palace a witch came at the lake to drink water. She saw the pretty girl and asked her why she was hiding. Girl was not able to recognize witch and she told her the complete story. Witch asked her to come with her and she will make her ready for the wedding. Girl agreed with her and went to witch. Witch immediately converted the girl into a colorful bird by putting a magical hairpin in her head.

When prince came back he saw the witch. He asked her where is the pretty girl. She said I am the one whom you told to wait. It is because of heat that I am appearing like this. I will be fine by tomorrow. Prince was confused and took her to the royal palace. In the palace he eagerly started waiting for the next day. Next day he immediately went to her room and saw that she was the same. He was very sad and came to his garden. There he saw the same colorful bird with hairpin. Bird came to prince and told him the complete story. Prince removed the hairpin from the bird and she again got converted into beautiful girl. Prince was very happy and witch on knowing all this immediately left the palace.
