To whom should I beseech now?
Once a king developed a very dreadful disease. According to all the physician of Greece, the disease could be cured only by some of organs of some one who has certain specifications. No other method could save the life of the king, they declared. Kings men rushed all over in search of such a person and finally the physician selected a poor farmers son for the purpose. The boys parents took lot of money and allowed the boy to be killed for curing the King. The qazi also gave his verdict saying that for the sake of the king, killing of the boy is justified. When the executioner in front of the king pulled out his sword to kill the boy, the boy looked towards the sky and smiled!
The king questioned the boy, “Hey this is not the time to smile!” The boy replied: A son depends on his parents. And if need be the qazi can be approached for justice and if for some reason he fails to get justice, he pleads to the king of the land for mercy. But in my case my parents have deserted me and preferred my kiliing for their petty gains . The qazi who was supposed to do justice has already given orders for the killing of an innocent and the King who is supposed to be the protector of law and justice and the defendant of his subjects has too justified to take my several years life just for the sake of his few remaining years of life. I was wondering and smililing at creators such activities. Now except Him to whom should I beseech?
The boys reply had such an impact on the king that he at once ordered the executioner, not to kill the boy. Being a culprit of the boy, I would rather prefer to die, said the king. He lovingly rewarded the boy and set him free. The God repaid his kindness and in a few days the king was cured even without any medicine.
