Value of Hard Work
Once upon a time, there were two brothers who lived in a small village. The older brother was named John, and the younger brother was named Sameer. John was a hard worker, while Sameer was lazy. John would often work in the fields all day, while Sameer would sleep in or play games.
One day, their father decided to teach them a lesson about the value of hard work. He told them that he would give them each a bag of seeds and that they should plant them in the field. He said that the one who grew the most crops would be the winner.
John immediately went to work, planting his seeds and watering them regularly. Sameer, on the other hand, just threw his seeds in the ground and didn’t bother to water them.
A few weeks later, John’s crops were starting to grow, while Sameer’s were still just a few small plants. John continued to work hard, while Sameer continued to be lazy.
Finally, the day of the harvest arrived. John’s crops were huge, while Sameer’s were barely worth harvesting. John was the clear winner, and their father was proud of him for his hard work.
Sameer was disappointed, but he learned his lesson. He realized that hard work is important, and that it pays off in the end.
From that day on, Sameer was a hard worker. He helped John in the fields, and he also started his own business. He became a successful businessman, and he was always grateful to his father for teaching him the value of hard work.
