The King and Four Wives

Once upon a time, the king of Iran was to leave on a tour of India. He asked his three queens that what he should bring for them on returning. The first queen said that bring fine silk clothing. The second queen demanded beautiful shoes. The third one asked for cosmetics. The king did not ask his fourth wife as she was not beautiful.

But just before leaving to India he thought that not asking my fourth queen would be unfair. So he asked her the same question that he had asked his other their queens. He was surprised when she said that all she wants is the king to return safely and be with her and until he won’t be back she will keep waiting for him.

Kings’ heart was filled with respect for the fourth queen. He left on his journey with admiration filled eyes and love for the fourth wife.

So when he returned, he gave all the gifts to the fourth wife and started living with her alone. Seeing this, the other queens were quite perturbed and amused that what the fourth queen did that she got everything.

King told them - “She only wanted me, so it is natural that whatever is mine is hers too”

Moral- “Ask God from God and nothing else”
